¶1The instant petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.2 to correct the municipal number allotted to her house as 112A Meera Patti, Tehsil Sadar, District Prayagraj, as was recorded earlier.

¶2Sri Rajesh Kumar Yadav, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Nagar Nigam states that house number of the petitioner has been amended as per the prayer made in the instant petition by an order dated 22.11.2023 passed by Zonal Officer, Nagar Nigam, Prayagraj.

¶3Counsel for the petitioner fairly admits that the cause of action, therefore, does not survive.
