¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State.

¶2The writ petition seeks quashing of the F.I.R. dated 16.07.2023 giving rise to Case Crime No. 0393 of 2023, under Sections 419, 420, 468 I.P.C., Police Station-Kotawali, District-Azamgarh.

¶3Vide order dated 29.08.2023, the matter has been referred for mediation subject to deposit of Rs. 30,000/- by the petitioners before the mediation centre. The report of the mediation centre states that aforesaid money was not deposited and that the order dated 29.08.2023 passed by this Court was not complied with.

¶4Under the circumstances and since the order passed by this Court has not been complied with, the petitioner is not entitled to any indulgence.

¶5Moreover, the allegations made in the First Information Report clearly disclose commission of cognizable offences and the allegations are serious in nature. Therefore, prayer of the petitioner to quash the First Information Report is completely misconceived and is rejected.

¶6The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
