The writ petition has been filed by the petitioners with prayer to direct the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Agra for expedite disposal of the M.A.C. No.03 of 2018 (Smt. Nisha Rani and others vs. The New India Assurance Company Ltd. and others), under Section 166 &140 of M.V. Act read with U.P. Motor Vehicle Rules, 2011, within the stipulated period. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the husband of petitioner no.1 died in a road accident on 22.06.2017 due to which a claim petition was filed before Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Agra, which is pending since 2018, therefore, a direction may be issued to Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Agra to decide the same, as expeditiously as possible.
