¶1The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the prayer to quash the judgment and order dated 19.12.2020 passed by the Additional District Judge-20 Kanpur Nagar in Misc. Appeal No.48 of 2020 (Syed Mohd. Ismail @ Sharif Vs. Smt. Shakra Bano and others) with a further prayer to vacate the stay order dated

19.12.2020.

¶2Notices were issued to the opposite party vide order dated

19.04.2023.

¶3Nobody is present on behalf of the respondent.

¶4Today when the matter is taken up, learned counel for the petitioner confined his prayer only to the effect to direct the Court below to decide the Misc. Appeal No.48 of 2020 expeditiously.

¶5Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶6Without interfering with the order dated 19.12.2020, the present petition is disposed of directing the Court below to decide the aforesaid appeal most expeditiously and preferably within a period of ten months from the date of production of certified copy of this order but without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.
