¶3Present petition has been with a request to direct the respondent no. 1 to conduct an independent, fair and unbiased enquiry by Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) or Special Investigation Team (SIT) or any other independent agency, in respect of the assault resulting in injuries, torture amounting to custodial violence subjected upon the petitioner on 25.9.2020 and 26.9.2020 by the respondent no. 4 while in police custody in the lock-up behind bars, in a time bound manner preferably within 30 days.

¶4Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
