¶1On oral prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, he is permitted to correct the description of respondent no. 1 in the cause title.

¶2Sole prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the Arbitrator (respondent no. 2) to decide Arbitration Case No. 1314/2023, under Section 3-G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 within a specified time frame.

¶3Counsel for respondent no. 3 and the State Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 2, have no objection to the said prayer.

¶4Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 1 to decide the arbitration case expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
