Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State. This writ petition has been filed with the grievance that the First Information Report in Case Crime No.286 of 2023, under Section 363, 366 IPC, Police Station Baldev, District Mathura has been lodged on 25.7.2023, but the investigation is not being undertaken, expeditiously and in accordance with law. Learned AGA states that all steps, as are required, are being taken in the matter. In the facts of the case, we permit the petitioner to approach the second respondent highlighting his grievance, who shall call for records and will ensure that a fair and impartial investigation, in accordance with law, is got conducted and concluded, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. Even otherwise, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the proceedings, he has the remedy of approaching the concerned Magistrate under section 156 Cr.P.C., which would be dealt with as per law.
