¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Narendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the respondent nos.4 and 5.

¶2The instant petition is directed against an award dated

22.07.2010 passed by Special Land Acquisition Officer (Joint Organization), Gorakhpur determining compensation for the acquired land under the provisions of The Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

¶3The petition has been filed in the year 2023 i.e., after 13 years.

¶4The challenge is highly belated and barred by laches and, consequently, we are not inclined to examine the same.
