¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Sharad Chandra Upadhyay, learned Standing Counsel. Shri Udit Chandra has accepted notice on behalf of respondent nos.3 and 4.

¶2Present writ petition has been preferred for a direction to respondent no.4-Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division-I, Sigra, Varanasi to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 25.8.2023 qua the compensation for the injury sufferred by the petitioner's wife due to electrocution, within stipulated period.

¶3Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits of the issue, the writ petition stands disposed of asking respondent no.4 to look into, examine and redress the grievance of the petitioner as per law expeditiously and preferably within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
