¶1The case of the petitioner is that respondent Nagar Panchayat has not made payment of various amounts to it for the work executed in pursuance of different contracts. The petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to release payment for the works duly executed and for a further direction to decide its representations dated 8.2.2023 and 15.2.2023.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on an inspection report which mentions that some of the works have been duly completed. It is urged that even in respect of these works, no payment has been made so far.

¶3Bearing in mind the facts of the case and the submissions made, we dispose of the instant petition with direction to respondent no. 3 to pass a speaking order on the representation of the petitioner dated 8.2.2023 and reminder dated 15.2.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order, along with photocopy of the representations.
