1.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Amit Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

2.The instant writ petition has been filed praying for a mandamus directing respondent no. 2 / Tehsildar, Tehsil Salempur, District Deoria to decide the Case No. 06112 of 2018, Computerized Case No. T201805200206112 (Sahodara Devi vs. Vindhyachal Yadav), under Section 34/35 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the aforementioned mutation case filed in the year 2018 is still pending in spite of expiry of more than 5 years. He further placed certified copy of the order-sheet which has been annexed as annexure-3 to the writ petition in order to demonstrate the matter is not proceeding expeditiously according to the provisions contained under Rule 34(7) of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules 2016.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 / Tehsildar, Tehsil Salempur, District Deoria to conclude the aforementioned case in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.
