¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Complaint Case No.55 of 2021, under Sections-147, 148, 149, 504, 323, 392, 406, 452 I.P.C. and Section 3(1) SC/ST Act, Police Station-Majhola, District-Moradabad.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that applicant has lodged complaint on 14.12.2021 against opposite party Nos.2 to 6. Trial court has recorded the statement under Sections 200 and 202 Cr.P.C., thereafter, case is pending for argument and more than two years have passed but argument has not taken place and summoning order has not been issued.

¶4Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2021. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
