¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State of U.P./opposite party no.1 and perused the record.

¶2The instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. dated

12.09.2023 has been preferred by the applicant with a prayer to quash the charge sheet dated 16.02.1999, cognizance order dated

09.04.1999, summoning order dated 23.05.2000, Non-Bailable Warrant dated 16.05.2002, order dated 15.04.2023 by which process under Section 82 Cr.P.C. has been initiated against him and proceeding of Case No.235 of 2023 ( Old Case No.198/1999) (State Vs. Ram Poojan) arising out of Case Crime No.134 of 1998, under Sections 279,337, 338, 427 IPC, Police Station-Arniya, District-Bulandshahar, pending in the court of Additional Civil Judge (Jr. Division) / Judicial Magistrate, Bulandshahar.

¶3Considering the inordinate delay of about fourteen years in filing the instant application, I do not find any good ground to interfere in the matter.

¶4In view of the above, the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is dismissed on the ground of laches without entering into the merits of the case.
