10.02.2022 had passed the following order:- "Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State-respondents. Petitioner's claim for payment of compensation under Mukhyamantri Kisan Evam Sarhit Beema Yojna stands rejected by the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. Learned Standing counsel points out that under the scheme, District Level Committee headed by District Magistrate is empowered to take decision in the matter. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to make representation before District Magistrate alongwith a true attested copy of this order. In that event, it will be placed before the District Level Committee for taking appropriate decision in accordance with law within six weeks thence." From the perusal of the aforesaid order, it is clear that a direction was issued to the applicant to make a representation before the District Magistrate who was to take appropriate action. Complying the order of the writ Court, the District Magistrate has taken a decision on 21.04.2023, copy of the same has been brought on record as Annexure 2 to the contempt application. As the order of the writ Court was only to the extent to decide the representation of the applicant, which the District Magistrate has decided, present contempt application is rendered infructuous and the same stands dismissed.
