¶1Petitioner no.1-Jagveer Singh, has appeared in person for the petitioners.

¶2The prayer made in the instant petition is for getting conducted a high level enquiry in respect of the land acquired for High-tech Township.

¶3The case of the petitioners is that certain shell companies got themselves registered and the land was acquired for their benefit and therefore, enquiry should be held and appropriate compensation should be paid to the villagers in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

¶4Sri Mahesh Narain Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.6 states that the award for the acquired was made on 15.01.2013 and the affected farmers have also withdrawn compensation long back and the instant petition is highly motivated and amounts to abuse to the process of the Court.

¶5We find considerable force in the submission of learned counsel for respondent no.6. We do not consider it fit to hold any roving enquiry at this distance in time. We leave it open to the affected persons to approach the competent authority for redressal of their grievances, if any, in accordance with law
