Grievance is that though a First Information Report has been lodged in Case Crime No. 240 of 2023, under Sections 498A, 304B I.P.C. and Section 3/4 D.P. Act on 19.08.2023, but investigation is not progressing as per law. It is also stated that though bail applications have been rejected, yet no action has proceeded against the accused. Learned AGA states that such grievance would be got examined by the competent authority. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed, we do not deem it necessary to issue notices to opposite party nos.4 to 6. In the facts of the case, we permit the petitioner to approach the second respondent, who shall ensure that appropriate action, as may be warranted in law is taken in the matter, so as to conclude the investigation expeditiously and as per law, preferably within a period of four months.
