¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2The instant writ petition seeks quashing of the FIR dated 2518.07.2023 giving rise to Case Crime No.0201 of 2023, under Sections 147, 420, 406, 506, 386 I.P.C., Police Station-Kotwali, District-Kanpur Nagar.

¶3The petitioner has not availed the remedy of mediation.

¶4The allegations in the F.I.R. are that the accused published advertisement in the newspaper intending to sell the property and on various false pretext received more than 20 lacs from the petitioner whereafter informant is being extended threats to his life and liberty.

¶5Prima facie, allegations made in the First Information Report clearly disclose commission of cognizable offences. Defence of the petitioners or even correctness or otherwise of the allegations are not required to be examined.
