¶1Heard Sri Rishu Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

¶2The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to respondent no.1, Deputy Director of Consolidation/Chief Revenue Officer, Mau, District Mau to decide the Revision No.38/38/022-23 (Umashankar Vs. Ram Bachan and others), under Section 48 (1) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has filed a revision before the respondent no.1 in the year 2013, which has yet not been decided.

¶4Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents has no objection to the relief sought by the petitioner.

¶5Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the r respondent no.1, Deputy Director of Consolidation/Chief Revenue Officer, Mau, District Mau is directed to decide the aforesaid application on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either parties.
