Judgment

Court No. - 47 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 41746 of 2023 Petitioner :- Ravi Shankar Mishra Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Bal Ram Gupta Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Manish Kumar Nigam,J.

¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record.

¶2The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of appropriate writ including writ of Mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to take appropriate action and decision upon petitioner's application dated

11.02.2022 (Annexure No.2 to the writ petition) forthwith in accordance with law within stipulated period of time by speaking and reasoned order."

¶3From perusal of the representation moved by the petitioner, it appears that petitioner has dispute with private respondent nos.4 and 5.

¶4Learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection that such a writ petition is not maintainable and in the garb of the present petition, the petitioner wants to settle his private dispute.

¶5In view of the above, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter.

¶6Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek remedy as available to him under the law. Order Date :- 4.12.2023 S. Singh High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
