Heard Sri Ajeet Mishra, learned Advocate holding brief of Sri Parvat Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. Petitioner claims to have been promoted in the year 2020 from the post of Constable to Head Constable but his pay scale has accordingly not taken place and submits that in the above regard he has already approached the authority with the latest representation dated 21.07.2023. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned competent respondent to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that concerned respondent shall consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in his representation dated 21.07.2023 and decide the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to add that the order to be passed by the competent authority, as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
