¶1The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that no decision is being taken by the District Magistrate, Prayagraj on the representation of the petitioner dated 9.5.2023 for compensation under the 'Disaster Relief Scheme' for death of his daughter who drowned in a well.

¶2It would serve no purpose to keep the petition pending. The District Magistrate, Prayagraj is directed to decide the representation dated 9.5.2023 filed by the petitioner within three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him and take appropriate action in accordance with law depending on the decision within next one month.
