¶1Heard Shri Pradeep Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2The petitioners have prayed for a direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents authorities (specially respondent no. 2-District Magistrate, District-Kaushambi) to pay compensation to the petitioners under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojna for the accidental claim of their father-Maiku Lal within stipulated time.

¶3The claim of the petitioners under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojna is pending since 2020.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to keep the matter pending consideration.

¶5Considering the the facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 2-District Magistrate, District-Kaushambi to consider and decide the petitioners' application/representation dated 17.08.2023 strictly in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
