¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below to decide the S.T. No.854 of 2023 (Crime No.509 of 2022) under Sections 498-A, 304-B, 201 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Bhoganipur, District Kanpur Dehat, pending before the Additional Sessions Judge, court no. 1, Rama Bai Nagar (Kanpur Dehat).

¶3Counsel for the applicant submits that trial is going on and witnesses have been examined. He next submits that opposite party-accused has been released on bail and they are threatening the witnesses and in this regard, applicant has lodged F.I.R. and moved bail cancellation application before this court.

¶4Considering the aforesaid facts, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
