¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶2The petitioner has invoked jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to directed the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghazipur to decide Misc. Criminal Case No.487 of 2019, (Saroj Devi versus Shashikant), under Section 125 Cr.P.C. within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on 01.08.2019, petitioner has filed an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghazipur, but the same is pending till date as is evident from the order sheets annexed with this petition, by the petitioners.

¶4Keeping in view, the nature of prayer made herein, it is expected that the aforesaid case may be decided by the Court below at an early date. Cr.P.C. itself stipulate time limit for disposal of such kind of maintenance cases.

¶5In view of above discussion, Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghazipur is directed to decide the Criminal Case No.487 of 2019, (Saroj Devi versus Shashikant), under Section 125 Cr.P.C. within a period of six month from the production of a certified copy of this order before it and submit the compliance report of this order, after compliance, before the court.
