¶1The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that the issue relating to his blacklisting by the department of Food and Civil Supply is pending before the Regional Food Controller, Gorakhpur Region District Gorakhpur after the matter was remanded to the Regional Food Controller by the Commissioner vide his order dated 9th June, 2023 passed in the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order of blacklisting.

¶2It would serve no purpose to keep the petition pending. The present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Regional Food Controller, Gorakhpur Region, Gorakhpur to pass appropriate order on the matter relating to the blacklisting of the petitioner as remanded to the respondent no. 3 by the Commissioner, department of Food and Civil Supply, Lucknow, vide his order dated 9th June, 2023, within a period of one month from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
