¶1The petitioners who claim to be social workers and public spirited citizens, had made certain complaints against Gram Pradhan, Rohit Kumar (respondent no. 6) regarding misuse of public funds.

¶2The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to respondent no. 2 to take action upon complaints dated 07.09.2019 and 07.11.2019 respectively.

¶3Under the U.P. Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhans, Up-Pradhans and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997, a wholesome procedure is prescribed for filing complaint and for enquiry, etc. Therefore, we find no good ground to entertain a public interest litigation in this behalf. It is left open to the petitioners to take recourse to the procedure provided under law.
