¶2Case is called out in the revised list.

¶3No one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel for the State is present.

¶4The instant writ petition has been filed praying for a mandamus directing the respondent No.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Jakhaniya, District-Ghazipur to decide the unnumbered case filed by the petitioner on 25.6.2022 under Section 21/24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

¶5On the basis of instructions, learned Standing Counsel has submitted that the case has been registered and the next date fixed is 18.12.2023.

¶5No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending.

¶6Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Jakhaniya, District-Ghazipur to consider and decide the case in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
