The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the Station House Officer of Police Station, Sarai Lakhanshi, District Mau i.e., respondent no.5 is misusing his position as Police Officer and harassing the petitioner by preventing him from harvesting his crops. The issue in the present case can be decided by the Superintendent of Police, Mau and therefore, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Mau that in case the petitioner files a fresh representation before the Superintendent of Police, Mau bringing all the necessary facts to his notice, the Superintendent of Police, Mau shall decide the same within a period of one month from the date of filing the representation and also take appropriate action in accordance with law depending on the decision taken by the Superintendent of Police, Mau.
