¶1Sri Amit Rai, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Ghanshyam Mishra, learned brief holder for the State are present.

¶2Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the trial of the case is at its last leg and 13.012.2023 is next date fixed for final hearing.

¶3From the record, it reflects that on 20.11.2023, C.J.M. concerned was directed to submit a report on the next date with regard to current status of the trial. Pursuant to the order dated

20.11.2023 passed by this Court, trial court has submitted its report to this Court, which has been marked as flag 'A'. From perusal of the report of the trial court, it appears that 13.12.2023 is next date fixed for final hearing.

¶4Learned AGA also submitted that as trial of the case is at its last leg and next date is fixed for final hearing, therefore, it is not proper to release the applicant on bail at this stage and the instant bail application should be dismissed on this ground alone.

¶5Considering the fact that trial of the case is at its last leg and

13.12.2023 is next date fixed for final hearing, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail at this advance stage of trial.
