Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. This writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 11.11.2023, registered as Case Crime No.0465 of 2023, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 323 and 504 I.P.C., Police Station-Lanka, District Varanasi on the ground that the parties have resolved their differences. We have perused the F.I.R. which contains specific allegation with regard to causing head injuries by blunt object. It is also urged that firing was resorted to by the accused persons. The injury report is otherwise not on record. Considering the nature of the allegations contained in the F.I.R., we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition, particularly when prima facie allegations of commissioning of cognizable offence are clearly disclosed.
