¶1This petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the first information report dated 4.11.2023 registered as Case Crime No.0459 of 2023 under Sections 376, 504, 506 IPC and Section 3/4 POCSO Act and Section 67b of I.T. Act, Police Station-Mauaima, District-Prayagraj.

¶2It is alleged that the petitioner has no role to play in the matter and has been falsely implicated.

¶3What exactly is the role played by the petitioner is a matter to be considered at the stage of investigation. The allegation is otherwise of fabricating a video and blackmailing the victim, who has been subjected to sexual assault. Since prima facie allegation with regard to commissioning of cognizable offence is disclosed, the prayer made to quash the FIR is declined.
