¶1This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to quash the proceedings of Special Case No. 13 of 2023 (State Vs. Mohammad Akil Ahmad and Another) arising out of Case Crime No. 170 of 2022, under Section 228A I.P.C., Section 74 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Section 23 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Police Station Ajnar, District Mahoba, pending in the court of learned Additional Session Judge/Special Judge POCSO Act, Mahoba.

¶2On the matter being taken up, learned counsel for the applicant moved criminal misc. withdrawal application No. Nil of 2023 dated 08.12.2023 before this Court with a prayer to withdraw the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is taken on record.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant does not want to press this application, therefore, he may be allowed to withdraw this application at this stage.

¶4Learned A.G.A. has no objection to such prayer of the applicant.
