This petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the first information report registered as Case Crime No.0170 of 2023. The first information report contains allegation to the effect that the sale deed of land owned by informant has been got executed through an imposter. We have perused the first information report which prima facie discloses commission of cognizable offence. Correctness or otherwise of such allegations are not required to be commented upon at this stage by this Court. Even identity of the petitioner as being the offender is required to be determined at the stage of investigation/trial. Once we find prima facie allegations disclosed in the FIR, the prayer for grant of interim protection cannot be considered and is rejected.
