Applicants being accused have approached this Court through this application under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashing of the summoning order dated 08.06.2022 and Bailable Warrant dated 22.08.2023 passed by Judicial Magistrate/ Additional Civil Judge (J.D.) Court No.1 in Complaint No.2348 of 2020 titled Smt. Vandna Vs. Dharmapal and others, Police Station-Etmadpur, District-Agra. Since the prosecution of the applicants is based on a private complaint filed under Chapter XV Code of Criminal Procedure, this Court is not inclined to exercise the inherent powers under Section 482 for quashing of the proceedings on the basis of compromise as the complainant can alternatively withdraw the complaint.
