The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 30.10.2023 passed by the Sugar Cane Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow assigning and reserving the area of the petitioners-cane growers to respondent No. 3. In light of the judgement and order dated 1.2.2021 passed by this Court in Writ-C No. 23288 of 2020 (Abdul Jalil Vs. State of U.P. and 3 Others), the petition is not maintainable by individual cane growers. The petitioner may approach the Co-operative Society which may take necessary action in case the grievance of the petitioners is sustainable. The petition is dismissed.
