The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that an application filed under Section 3(G)5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 has not been decided by the Arbitrator, i.e., the District Magistrate, Ghaziabad. On the application of the petitioner, Case No. D202314290000276 has been registered before the Arbitrator / District Magistrate, Ghazipur. The Arbitrator / District Magistrate, Ghazipur is directed to make all endeavours to expeditiously decide the aforesaid case, if still pending, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to the parties, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner. With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of.
