¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.

¶2Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that he does not want to press this application and further requested that some additional time may be granted for payment of arrears of interim maintenance as directed by Additional Principal Judge, Family Court No.1, Meerut vide dated 04.08.2023, for which learned AGA has no objection.

¶3Therefore, under such facts and circumstances, the application is disposed of with direction to applicant to pay arrears of interim maintenance in four installments. First installment shall be paid within one month from the date of order and remaining amount shall be paid in quarterly installments alongwith monthly maintenance of Rs.5,000/- to opposite party no. 2 strictly in terms of order of Additional Principal Judge, Family Court No.1, Meerut, dated 04.08.2023.

¶4Order dated 04.08.2023 is modified to that extent.

¶5Court has not interfered with remaining part of order dated

04.08.2023 and applicant shall comply the order of monthly payment of Rs.5,000/- strictly. In case of failure of monthly payment as directed by the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court No.1, Meerut, dated 04.08.2023, protection given with regard to payment of arrears of interim maintenance in four monthly installments would stand automatically vacated.
