¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sunil Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the Bank.

¶2The bank and the petitioner entered into a settlement on

31.3.2023. As per the settlement, the petitioner had to deposit Rs.1,00,00,000/- as offer amount and thereafter he had to deposit Rs.15,00,000/- as token amount and the remaining amount was to be deposited within three months by 30.9.2023. The petitioner deposited only Rs.15,00,000/- as an offer amount. Thereafter, in the month of June, 2023, he asked for an extension, which was granted and the petitioner was required to deposit Rs.5,00,000/- by

25.07.2023 and remaining amount was required to be deposited by

30.09.2023. The petitioner did deposit a cheque of Rs.5,00,000/-, however, that too bounced.

¶3Under such circumstances, we find that the petitioner is not serious with the One Time Settlement. There is no merit in this writ petition.
