¶1The petitioners have prayed for a direction to the respondents to get their name mutated in the Nagar Palika records. Their case is that previously the land was under the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayat but now it comes under the jurisdiction of Nagar Palika Parishad and their application for mutation of names has not been disposed of so far.

¶2Counsel for the respondent-Nagar Palika states that the application will be disposed of in accordance with law.

¶3Accordingly the petition is disposed of by providing that the prayer of the petitioners for mutation of their names be decided within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with a fresh representation.
