Perusal of the record shows that the impugned recovery notice dated 01.03.2023 is, in fact, a provisional assessment notice. Learned counsel for the Electricity Department states that the petitioner's reply, sent on 08.05.2023, would be considered in accordance with law, after giving him personal opportunity of hearing, within a period of two months. Under such circumstances, no interference is warranted. The petitioner's application/reply will be considered and decided, after giving personal hearing to him, within a period of two months.
