¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below to decide the Special Trial No.47 of 2016 (Case No.423 of 2016) (State Vs. Asif Ali) arising out of Case Crime No.292 of 2015, under Sections 364A, 120-B I.P.C., P.S. Kotwali, District Mainpuri, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (D.A.A.), Mainpuri.

¶3Counsel for the applicants submits that charges have been framed on 15.10.2016 in the aforesaid case and the case is pending before the trial court since 2016.

¶4Considering the aforesaid facts, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
