¶1The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioners dated

17.11.2022 (annexure-5). The prayer in the said representation is for award of compensation to the petitioners at par with the amount determined by the arbitrator in other cases by order dated

18.03.2020.

¶2In our considered opinion, in case the petitioners are not satisfied with the award of the competent authority, they have remedy of approaching the arbitrator under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act. There is no provision under the Act whereunder compensation amount could be enhanced on the basis of representation made by the affected person.
