Present contempt application has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for punishing the opposite party for non-compliance of order passed in the First Appeal From Order No.2010 of 2006 dated 17.02.2022. This Court finds that the applicant had filed the appeal for enhancement of the compensation amount awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Allahabad. As the appeal was allowed by the Court and the compensation awarded by the Tribunal was enhanced, the applicants have a remedy of moving necessary application for execution of the award under the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.
