¶1The present petition has been filed praying for a mandamus commanding Indian Oil Corporation Limited to cancel the petrol pump license dated 31.03.2006 issued in the name of M/s Prabhat Road Lines Filling Station, situated at Hakikatpur, Post Badagaon, Tehsil Sadar, District Mau.

¶2The petitioner is one of the partners in the aforesaid firm. The other two partners in the firm are respondent nos. 4 and 5. The aforesaid prayer has been made on the allegation that the other partners are not giving the petitioner his share in the profits earned by the operation of the filling station.

¶3The petitioner may institute appropriate proceedings under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 for dissolution of partnership and for distribution of assets or seeking accounts of the firm, if he so desires. The relief prayed by the petitioner cannot be granted on pleadings in the writ petition.
