¶1Heard the counsel for the petitioners.

¶2The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1, District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum/Commission, Azamgarh, District Azamgarh to expeditiously decide complaint case no. 70 of 2019 (Samriddhi Ornament vs. Voltas Pvt. Ltd.), under Section 12 of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 pending before him.

¶3The respondent no. 1, District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum/Commission, Azamgarh, District Azamgarh is directed to decide the aforesaid case, if still pending, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.

¶4It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
