¶1Heard the counsel for the parties.

¶2The present petitioner has been filed for the following relief: "To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent bank to lift the hold put on the bank account of petitioner bearing Saving Account No. 30509479399, State Bank of India, Branch Kemari, District Rampur."

¶3It appears that the account of the petitioner has been put on hold because of certain liabilities which are still due against him.

¶4The issue raised in the petition can be decided by the Branch Manager of the State Bank of India, Branch Kemari, District Rampur and therefore, the petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Branch Manager, Branch Kemari, District Rampur, who on receiving the said representation shall decide the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of filing of the said representation.
