¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.

¶2The applicant has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to direct court below to decide the Criminal case no. 79 of 2014, State Vs. Tahil and another, arising out of case crime no. 1615 of 2013, under section 354, 354(GH), 504 I.P.C., P.S. Sahibabad, District Ghaziabad pending before Special Judge POCSO Act/Additional District and Session Judge, District Ghaziabad, within the stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is complainant in the instant case and charge against him has already been framed on 29.1.2021, however, despite lapse of about three years, the trial could not be concluded and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of above, the trial court is expected to make all endeavour to conclude the trial of the aforesaid case expeditiously preferably within a period of eight months after giving opportunity of hearing to both the sides and without giving unnecessary adjournments to either side and there is no other legal impediment in concluding the trial.
