¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel representing the respondent nos.2 to 5 and Sri Anoop Tiwari, learned counsel for Union of India-respondent no.1.

¶2The grievance of the petitioner is that no decision is being taken by the District Magistrate, Bijnor and the Executive Engineer, Provincial Division, P.W.D., Government of U.P., Bijnor, on the application of the petitioner for grant of no objection certificate for establishment of retail outlet of petrol/diesel as proposed by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

¶3It would serve no useful purpose to keep the writ petition pending.

¶4The writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner may, through a representation, bring the the aforesaid facts to the notice of the District Magistrate, District Bijnor and Chief Engineer, P.W.D., Uttar Pradesh Moradabad Zone, Moradabad i.e. respondent nos.2 & 4, who shall pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner filed for grant of no objection certificate within a period of three months from the date of filing the representation.
