After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his relief with regard to prayer no. (ii) only, which reads as under:- "(ii) To issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the Respondent No. 2 to consider and allow the letter of request of the petitioner dated 14.09.2023 for granting permission to complete his Ph.D. through submitting thesis before the Respondent No. 6 in the light of judgement dated

31.05.2023 in Writ-C No. 23756/2021 in between Pallavi Soni Vs. State of U.P. through Principal Secretary, Higher Education, LKO & Others and judgement dated 17.08.2023 in Writ-C No. 3800 of 2023 in between Sanjay Kumar Vs. State of U.P. & Others;" To the said prayer, learned counsel for the respondent has no objection. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the petitioner's aforesaid application dated 14.09.2023, in accordance with law, expeditiously, within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
