¶1Heard Sri Udai Bhanu Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Shrinath Dwivedi, learned counsel for the respondents.

¶2Present writ petition has been preferred for a direction to respondent authorities to pay the maturity amount of the National Saving Certificates in question issued in the year 1984 to the petitioner along with 12% interest.

¶3At the outset, statement has been made at the Bar, the controversy involved in the present case is squarely covered by a decision of a co-ordinate bench of this Court in District Cooperative Bank Ltd. Jaunpur Vs. Union of India & 4 Ors. passed in Writ - C No. 4308 of 2023 decided on 22.03.2023.
